（云南-2018年4月24日）湖南籍基督徒涂焱，本周二被大理市中级法院以“邪教罪”，判刑两年，从被羁押日计算，刑期至今年10月。涂焱的姐姐对记者说，她未接到开庭通知，但对妹妹刑期尚余五个月，她感到欣慰。另一位与涂焱同期被捕的基督徒苏敏，不久前被法院判刑一年六个月，现已获释。
云南大理一家庭教会信徒涂被羁押约二十个月后，本周二（4月24日）上午，在大理市中级法院开庭审理，法官判处涂焱“组织、利用邪教组织破坏法律实施罪”成立，判刑两年。涂焱在湖南家乡的姐姐涂葵，当天中午告诉记者，她的妹妹被判刑两年，但她们未接到开庭通知。她说：“他们那边一个信徒告诉我的，判了两年。她在里面已经关押了约一年半，大约10月下旬出狱。法院方应该跟涂焱有过协议，要她解聘辩护律师，换取较判的刑期，这次判两年就不上诉了”。
2016年10月下旬，涂焱和朋友在云南大理经营的一客栈内被捕，随后被以邪教组织“三班仆人派”，涉嫌“组织、利用邪教组织破坏法律实施罪”逮捕。2017年1月12日，涂焱案被大理市公安局送检察院审查起诉。起诉案卷多达12本，2400页，起诉书主要指控涂焱涉嫌参加邪教组织“三班仆人派”。涂焱在会见律师时，明确表示她信奉基督教，从未参加邪教组织。3月上旬及5月，涂焱案两次被检察院退回公安局补充侦查，直到7月11日再度移送法院。几经周折，该案于7月11日由大理市检察院向法院提起公诉.
涂葵认为，她妹妹是一名基督徒，并不是所谓三班仆人派，因此法院的判决是错误的：“法院他们的判决是不对的，我妹妹是基督徒，我们全家都信基督教。涂焱将被送到昆明的监狱，到时候我们回去探监”。
另一位与涂焱同期在大理被捕的信徒苏敏，也于近期被以同样罪名（邪教），判刑一年零六个月。涂葵说，苏敏已经出狱：“苏敏已经被判了，也是邪教罪，被判一年半。因为刑期比涂焱短，现在她已经刑满出狱了”。
云南教案涉及一百多人，不少人被判以重刑。今年1月上旬，临沧市云县法院，以“组织、利用邪教组织破坏法律事实罪”，分别处以鞠殿红、梁琴、张红艳、字会梅、杨顺祥、张绍彩等五女一男有期徒刑一年六个月至13年不等。其中第一被告鞠殿红被重判13年，梁琴10年。判决书称，以鞠殿红及其助手梁琴为首的邪教骨干分子，2015年至2016年期间，至云南省多地州市秘密聚会、传经布道和发展信徒，继续鼓吹、宣扬世界末日论，培养组织骨干，为秘密传教布道聚会创造条件和提供便利，重建“三班仆人派”组织体系等。
2016年，云南省公安厅指挥各地公安在临沧、楚雄、大理、昭通、玉溪、普洱、西双版纳等地抓捕二十多名基督徒，指他们参加邪教组，全案被起诉及判刑的有数十人。

The Court of Dali, Yunnan sentenced two Christians Tu Yan and Sumin two years and a year and half in prison

Tu Yan’s older sister Tu Kui, who lived in Hunan, told the reporter on Tuesday that she knew that her sister was sentenced two years, but she never got any notification about the court session. She said: “A Christian there told me this. Two years in prison. She’s been detained for a year and half already, and she’ll be out in late October. The court may have stuck a deal with Tu Yan, demanding her to fire the representative lawyer in exchange for a more lenient verdict. She decides not to appeal.”
During late October, 2016, the police detained Tu Yan and her friend in a hotel that they co-operated in Yunnan and later formally arrested her with the charge of “participating in the cult Three Grades of Servants” and “organizing and using cult organization to undermine law enforcement. On January 12th, 2017, the Public Security Bureau of Dali submitted Tu Yan’s case to the procuratorate for review, turning in 12 volumes and 2400 pages of case file. The indictment mainly accused Tu Yan of participating in the cult “Three Grades of Servants,” while Tu Yan clearly told her lawyer that she was a Christian and was never involved in any cults. During early March and May, the procuratorate twice returned Tu Yan’s case to the public security bureau for further investigation. On July 11th, the case was transferred to the court. After a few transfers, the Procuratorate of Dali brought a charge against Tu Yan on July 11th.
Tu Kui believed that her sister was a Christian, instead of a member of the so-called Three Grades of Servants; the court had made a mistake. “The court wronged her. My sister is a Christian. Our entire family is Christian. Tu Kui will be transferred to a prison in Kunming. We will visit her there.”
Su Min, who was arrested at the same time with Tu Yan in Dali, was sentenced a year and half in prison with the same charge (participating in cult). According to Tu Kui, Su Min had already been released. “Su Min was sentenced as well, a year and half in prison. She was also charged with participating in cult. Since her term is shorter, she had already been released.”
The case of Yunnan Christians involved more than a hundred people, and many of them were harshly sentenced. During this early January, the Court of Yun County, Lincang sentenced Ju Dianhong, Liang Qin, Zhang Hongyan, Zi Huimei, Yang Shunxiang and Zhang Shaocai, five females and one male in prison with the charge of “organizing and using evil cult to undermine law enforcement.” The terms ranged from a year and half to thirteen years in prison. The main culprits of the case, Ju Dianhong and Liang Qin, were sentenced thirteen years and ten years respectively. According to verdict, the cult members, led by Ju Dianhong and her assistant Liang Qin, gathered secretly in many districts in Yunnan, recruited church members, preached about an impending apocalypse and attempted to restructure the “Three Grades of Servants.”
In 2016, the Public Security Department of Yunnan province arrested more than 20 Christians in Lincang, Chuxiong, Dali, Zhaotong, Yuxi, Puer and Xishuangbanna, accusing them of participating in cults. Dozens of people were sued.
